Inge's Impressions are works of art by Inge Huston, currently residing in Shawnee, Kansas.   Inge is a native German who came to the US in 1977 as Inge Mueller to marry Richard.   Inge is a trained nurse.   She started using oil paints to express her own creativity at age 12 when her Grandma gave her an oil set as her birthday gift. A few years later, she added photography. Flowers are among her favorite subjects because her mother, a trained gardener and florist, always had a beautiful flower garden.  Inge has traveled and lived in different countries in Europe, Africa (Zambia), as well as the U.S.  Naturally, she has planted a beautiful garden herself wherever possible.

In her paintings as well as her photography, Inge carefully chooses her colors to open your eyes to the natural beauty found in God's creation.

While raising their 4 daughters, Inge had little time for painting, but continued her photography. Now the nest is empty, and with 3 daughters living far away in Europe, Inge has picked up her oil painting again. It is her desire that her art will convey a message of hope, knowing that no matter how gloomy the future of this world may look, God is still in control, and has a perfect plan for everyone's life.
