Welcome to Inge’s Impressions. Inge Huston, a Kansas City artist now living in Hamburg, Germany, wants to warm your heart with her oil paintings of KC landmarks, such as “Plaza Lights” as well as her other oil paintings of sunsets, sea and landscapes, and universe paintings inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope. My Medium
My main tool is a palette knife, plus a fine brush for details. I use only oil colors, and mostly a limited palette of a certain white, yellow, red, blue, and brown, and mix them in different ways.
My Inspiration
The beauty in God's creation, such as sunsets, flowers, and other sources of rich colors, as well as photos of the universe (taken by the Hubble Space Telescope).
